Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I'm researching my family history for my grandmother, who is at the ripe age of 73, and Joseph was her Great (x4) grandfather. He was a schoolmaster in Spofforth, and I believe the parish clerk for some time. As I can't take my grandmother to see the grave herself, having an image to put in my research is the perfect alternative.
