I am compiling ancestry information. William Joseph Poncini is my great grandfather. His father was Guisseppi (Joseph) Poncini, born in 1836 in Asconsa, Switzerland. My grandfather is Cyril Vincent Poncini, my father Neville Vincent Poncini now residing in Gympie. There is a rumour in my family that William Joseph Poncini was murdered by Aboriginals in the Eidsvold area. My grandfather, Cyril Vincent Poncini was born 8 years after the death of his father William Joseph Poncini and we do not know his father's identity. I would be very grateful for assistance. I married into the poncini family, my wife is karen (poncini) her father is clem poncini and is the son of cyril poncini. Cyril's mother was Annie Jane Poncini (ebrington) the father is unknown Im guessing that she lived with her father in law after William Joseph poncini passed? Electoral rolls show them at the same address 1903, 1913 and 1922.
