Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

We have a family tree and went and found the headstone of George and Eliza at Riby on Easter Sunday. We where unable to find Riby Grove Farm .We are totally intrigued regarding Great Grandad, many times removed. Plus the fact that my Husband has his roots as a Geordie (Northumberland) and had no idea that his stock came from Lincolnshire. (Where we live). We have no knowledge of what they were or achieved, The headstone is well preserved ,not unduly weathered with ?? Daffodils etched on and is under an large conifer almost hidden from view. What was the significance of the flowers ? It has inspired us to look for further past relations from the Family tree
