Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I believe Elizabeth Knill is my 4th great aunt who died at 18 days old. 3 years later her parents had another daughter who they also called Elizabeth, she lived to the age of 45. I only live 60 miles from Ilfracombe, I hope to visit for myself later this year but at the moment I'm just getting to grips with just how many 'Knill's' there are in North Devon. My mother's father was called Bertie Knill Parker (his mother was Emily Knill) - I thought Knill would be the less complicated name to research - how wrong I was! I am sorry to hear that so few people thank you for your work. I would have ticked the 'I want to help' box but I doubt I could be of any use. Kind regards Myra Dawson (Plymouth, Devon, UK)
