My grandmother's family emigrated to the U.S. in 1854--one of her uncles was named Newton Noble Tills. I've noticed that this seems to be a recurring family name and I am trying to trace the family back as far as possible. Her grandfather John Tills was a veterinary surgeon and his father may have been either Newton or William Tills--sons of another John Tills who was a farmer in St.Osyth who died in 1780. Your help would be much appreciated.

I have an interest in a Newton Tills who was mayor of Colchester in 1794. This may be his father's grave.
