Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

This William and Elizabeth Lister Merryweather are my great great great grand parents. His date of birth is 11 April 1791 in Welbury, Yorkshire. Her date of birth may be 10 November 1793. They were married 21 October 1813 in Welbury and their daughter, Margaret, was born Dec 1817 and baptised 2 Jan 1818 in Welbury. I would be deeply grateful to have this image as well as being connected to anyone with more questions about this couple.

I have done a great deal of research into this family - my father's step-mother was a descendant of William & Elizabeth.

I am so excited that I found this photograph. I live in Melbourne Australia and I am a descendant of Elizabeth and William Merryweather. I would LOVE to be able to travel to the U.K. to visit family history sites but ill health will not allow, so to see this photo was very exciting. My history line is; William Merryweather > son > William Merryweather > daughter > Elizabeth Merryweather married Thomas Bibby > son > Joseph Bibby > son > David Bibby > daughter > ME Rhonda Bibby!!!!! I thank you in anticipation - Rhonda Johnston

My sister-in-law is related to the Merryweathers through her father. Elizabeth Merryweather (Lister) is her 4th Great-Grandmother.
(requested on 07 05 2016)
I am a descendant of Thomas & Elizabeth Bibby (nee Merryweather), in the same line as Rhonda Johnson as mentioned above. I live in Ballarat, Australia and would love to be able to add this image to my slowly growing family history collection. I'd love to connect with anyone who has researched the family further back than this Elizabeth Lister Merryweather (who must be my 4-5 x great grandmother). My aunt and uncle ran 2 Bibby reunions in Navarre in 1988 and sometime after, compiling a family tree of Thomas & Elizabeth's family at that stage (1988). Thank you - Louise Bibby (PS I have photographed all headstones in the Navarre, Vic, Australia cemetery, which are available on the Navarre Historical Society Facebook page (up-to-date Jan 2016)

Notes about St Hilda the Headland Church burial ground

A prominent feature of the Headland, St Hilda's church was built in the late twelfth century but the south doorway shows in its decoration that it belonged to an earlier Norman church.
