Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I would like to see if this Leonard Harker could be one of the Leonard Harkers I'm descended from. My Harkers were farmers from the Cleveland area (Skelton, Marske etc). It's possible that this Leonard Harker was the grandfather of my gggg-grandfather, also Leonard Harker.

Notes about St Hilda the Headland Church burial ground

A prominent feature of the Headland, St Hilda's church was built in the late twelfth century but the south doorway shows in its decoration that it belonged to an earlier Norman church.
