Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Richard William Boddington is the older brother of my grandfather, Ernest Fearby Crick Boddington. I believe their mother, Emily Crick, was the one who inserted a bit of brains into the family. Before she arrived on the scene, there wasn't very much in evidence from their origins in Cumnor, Oxon (formerly Berks) and before that very likely in Lower Heyford and Middle Barton Oxon.. Ernest emigrated to Canada around 1890, married and then moved to New York City where he was a newspaper editor, wrote and dramatized plays. played cricket and probably drank too much. Thanks very much for providing this service!
