Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Whilst researching the Depper family, I discovered Mary Ann Manders was Adam Depper's step-daughter. Upon looking at Mary Ann's marriage to John Manders Peplow on the Ancestry website, I discovered that the entire family (Mary Ann, John, their 7 children and John's father) all died in 1901. I'm hoping the gravestone may shed some light on this [possible] tragedy.
