Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

We are compiling a Register of Memorials to soldiers who served in the Peninsula and at Waterloo. Capt Bartholomew Horsell served in the Royal Waggon Trains in the Peninsular from Apr 1810 - Mar 1813 and Apr 1814. He served at Busaco, Badajoz and Toulouse. Volume 1 was published under the title Wellington's Men Remembered in Jun 2012. The work is sponsored by the Waterloo Association and supported by Association members. We would appreciate a photograph of this memorial to include in a DVD of memorial photographs which will be included in Volume 2 to be published in 2013/4. We will include an appropriate acknolwedgement in the List of Contributors and respond to your reply. Janet and David Bromley
