I know that she was my relative.

My great grandmother Eliza Finbow was born at Norton, Suffolk, and so far I've had no luck in tracing her family.Having found these Finbows also from Norton, I'm curious if they might be related to Eliza. I'd love to hear from anyone who might shed some light on Eliza's ancestry. All I have is that she was born at Norton in 1816 or perhaps 1817 and from her death certificate that her mother was Sarah. No father was given. Eliza married my great grandfather Thomas Bolton (later in Australia Boulton)in 1839 in Berkshire not long after their daughter Rose Hanna was born. They lived at Binfield, Berkshire, until October 1856 when they boarded the Matoaka for the voyage to Australia. Thomas died in Sydney NSW in 1896 and Eliza at Albion Park NSW in 1901. They have many descendants in Australia. Rose Hanna lived to age 98 and had a big family and 9 of her 11 siblings survived childhood. Thanks in anticipation Jan Elder
