Ellis Crowther Midgley is my great great grandfather. His son Herbert Lee Midgley had a son RoyLee Midgley who is my mum (Janet Midgley)'s dad. I am trying to make a family history book and have info posted on ancestry.com. I'm looking for the graves of my direct ancestors. My parents moved to the United States and I am trying to keep my english heritage alive for my kids who won't have many opportunities to visit family grave sites.

My father is David Herbert Midgley, son of Arthur Midgley (the younger brother of Roy Lee. Midgley), son of Herbert Lee Midgley, son of Ellis Crowther Midgley. It's amazing to see so many of those generations together. I'm Also trying to locate where Herbert Lee's wife, hilda Dixon-marshall's father's house, was, called Parkhurst, Far Headingley.

My mother-in-law, Judith Margaret Ives, lost contact with her mother Margaret Midgley. when she was very young. Margaret Midgley, born July 1910, was ostracised by her family, following an affair. Her father was Frederick William Midgley, born 9 September 1879.
