Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am researching the extended family of Binnie, and have found this family very interesting. Thomas' mother Hannah Carr was born at Castle Sowerby, Cumberland and was neice to David, my line, the poor line that remained in Cumberland. Another line went down to Somerset and became very wealthy. This line's wealth was due to a Bachelor Uncle who had taken the boys under his wing, he was a very successful Merchant in London. It has been fascinating following these peoples careers. Katherine Mary would be the daughter of Thomas Carr Binnie and Annie.
