My forebears came from Devon and my gg/grandfather was baptised in Diptford in 1818 and his last three children'my g/grandfather included were born in Stokefleming, Alice Jane Prowse in 1858, Anthony Hingston Prowse in 1860 and James Wills Prowse in 1862 and Eliza Hingston Pillar [nee Prowse] is their niece. My grandfather whose name is also Anthony Hingston Prowse was born to Anthony Hingston Prowse and Anna Maria Shillabeer in Paddington Middlesex in 1887. He married Margaret Bowers Hutton and after their 2 oldest children were born they came to Australia, arriving here on 12th January 1912 on the Themistocles. They had another 5 children in Australia. My father is their last surviving child. He was born on 04th July 1918 at Brisbane, Queensland, which makes him 94 years of age. I do not know very much about the English part of my family and would really appreciate a copy of the photograph and any other information that may help me to piece it all together. Thank you for your time and have a great day. Cheers Beattie Mayo Darwin Northern Territory Australia
