Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Hi Lisa, Thank you for photographing and posting this image. Duncan Blue Senior would be my 2 gg uncle. His parents were Malcom Blue and Margaret McMillan of Killean and Kilchenzie, Argyll. Duncan was born 25 Apr 1833 there and died 23 April 1915 at Sullivan, Grey, Ontario. His wife Eleanor (Ellen) was born 23 May 1837 Dornoch Sutherland, Scotland and died 24 Feb 1911. This is just in case you want more information to attach to your gravestone photograph. You really helped me having the younger Duncan's information there as I found his death on ancestry but with no parents. I have him on census records, then he disappeared so I was correct in assuming he was the son of the above. I am wondering why they were buried in Glenelg Twp and not Sullivan, Grey where they lived, as I don't know the area. I have taken pictures of graves here in Alberta, and consider your service to relatives invaluable. Thank you sincerely, Jeanette Blue Earl
