Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

It is most probable that this is the Leonard Stockbridge who served in the RAFVR and died and is buried at El Alia Cemetery, Algeria. The connection with me is due to the fact that Leonard married a Patricia Anne Mathews (my 1st Great Aunt)in September 1934.Unfortunately, Patricia contracted TB whist serving as a nurse at a TB hospital in Cambridgeshire and died, I believe, on 3rd April 1934 at Spilsby, Lincolnshire. Further details regarding both Leonard and Patricia are 'scratchy' hence the request. My mother, now aged 90, remembers a cousin named Anne Stockbridge whose mother was Patricia Anne Stockbridge and both are due to meet-up after many years unaware that the two cousins still are still alive. Long winded but better more information than less. Regards. Alistair Lennie
