Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am doing research on my direct-line family, Pauley-Poley-Poillei, etc., descended from Guillaume de Poillei, down through the Poley's of Boxted. Guilielmi [William] Croftes is the husband of Jane Poley, and Jane is the daughter of Guilielmi [William] Poley and his wife Alice [nee Shaa] Poley of Boxsted, Suffolk.

Hello, I have received help from you in the past so want to "put something back into the system" where I can. In this MI the word "Armiger" is Latin for esquire or gentleman who had a Coat of Arms. This designation applied to quite a number of families, so this entry should really be reassigned under the correct family of Croftes, rather than Armigeri. Roger.
