Prior to Wombleton he was landlord of the Buck Inn, Wrelton, near Pickering for about 20 years and was also a farmer there. In the late 1800's he mangaged the New Slip Inn, Bulmer owned by the Setchfield family. That inn, which was opposite the church, was demolished probably by 1930. |
