Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

A distant relative in Canada of my husband contacted me on Ancestry and asked if I could help Trace Janet Scott's death (the story was from Australian relatives that she was Lady Janet Scott) not so, although most of the family were Factors and associated with the nobility. This proves that I was correct in my findings of her and her parents and siblings, I will be in contact with you soon with a donation - I am delighted with this result - the Mitchell's mentioned are William Scott's grandsons

I have been searching for the death record and burial location for my GGG Grandmother Janet Scott widow of William Smith ( shepherd at Glenkiln). William died in 1845 and is buried at Kirkmaben Parish Churchyard with four of their sons. Another researcher believes this is the Janet Scott I am looking for. She has been buried with her parents. My maiden name was Smith and I live in Canada so am not able to come to view the tombstone myself. Thank you kindly for any help you can provide.
