Hello, I am trying to decipher more of the information on the gravestone. I believe your image shows more of the inscription than mine does. Thank you. Carolyn

My great-grandfather, Charles Johnson, was the son of William Johnson (1822-1909) and Ann Gelder (1822-1859). The family, with 4 small children, had packed up to move to Natal, South Africa for Ann's health but she died in 1859. William and his family moved to Durban, South Africa in 1861. He remarried and had 2 more children. Charles Johnson established St Augustine's Mission Station near the battlefields in Zululand. He married and had 10 children.
