Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

William Drysdale and Jane Cochrane are the 6th great grand parents of my Daughter-in-law Jany Merken. I am researching her family tree. Jany is Dutch and one of the sons of William and Jane was Thomas Cochrane Drysdale who emigrated to Indonesia and married Neeltje Adolphina Hazaart on 9th July 1851 in Timor. I would be very grateful if you could send me the image. Many thanks and best regards Jan Rotte, Lismore Ireland

I am a resident of New Zealand and researching my Scottish/Irish ancestors namely William Drysdale who I think died a relatively young man (?)possibly during the Irish Potato Famine. His son William left Ireland around 1849 and lived for the remainder of his life in Wigtownshire, from where my family sprouted. William snr was married to a Jane Baillie (Ballie) and I can find no reference to this couple except on William jnr's death certificate.
