Verna May Scott was my stepmother, and her mother was Elizabeth Shackleton - an error here. The name Scott was my birth name and Verna took it when she married my widowed father around 1954. She was 23 years younger and unmarried then. Edwin Grant was her younger brother, and divorced with a health problem. They lived together in Barrie after her Mom died and my father died. She could not be the daughter of Thelma Arline. I lost track of her when she moved back to Canada from the retirement residence she shared with my father in California, somewhere in the 70ies.
