father of Louisa Matilda Cordelia KennedyThomas Fortescue Kennedy was born 9th November 1774 and was Christened at St Annes Church, Soho, London.Father- Hugh Alexander Kennedy was Dr. Kennedy, the Inspector General of Army Hospitals and the physician to the Prince of Wales (later George IV). Mother - Devereux Joined the Royal Navy on 12th August 1789 and was on board HMS Temeraire at the Battle of Trafalgar (21st October 1805). At the time he served as Captain Eliab Harveys 1st Lieutenant. During the Battle he helped capture the French ship Fougueux. He married twice, first to Louisa, in 1806 (Daughter of Colonel Adlam RM) and had 2 surviving sons - George Capt. RA and Hugh Lieu. RM. He then married Hannah Sarah in 1834,(Daughter of Dr. Hope/ widow of Dr. Kennedy) no children.
