Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

wp.wood@btinternet.com My ancestor was Mary Williams who wrote Autumn Leaves by Mair Hydref. I have inherited her book, she wrote in English and her husband great great grandpa wrote the latter half in Welsh, 'darnau cymreig'. Her patron was Queen Victoria and later Princess Eugenie, and the Prince of Wales as well as from the clergy, nobility and gentry. The books were printed in Holywell. I am trying to find out more about them for my dissertation. My grandmother was born Ethel Maud Williams and was granddaughter of Mary Williams poetess of Hawarden.
