Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I believe this Mary was wife to an ancestor of mine William Clark ... His son Charles was then father to Amelia who was mother to Edward who then had William my grandfather ... The father of Edward is not known to us and he retained his mothers surname ...Amelia did eventually marry a Thomas Roots ... They all resided in and around Gloucestershire and were generally listed as timber merchants or sawyers. Edward (known is Ted to us) married Daisy and after the First World War they migrated to Australia
