Andrew & Jane are my maternal gt.gt.grandparents. Their headstone was relocated from Onehunga to Tapu. Thank you for enabling me to add photos of their gravestones to my family records.

Andrew & his wife Jane are my my great-great grand parents who arrived here on the sailing ship Berhampore 1849. Its taken me manys years to discover his final resting place whereabouts? Andrew & Jane were originaly buried in Onehunga R C Church, a member of their family moved him to the Coromandel. I am interested to also know if there is mention of his wife Jane on the headstone as there is no headstones of the original Onehunga R C cemetery remaining. The cemetery was taken over by saint Josephs school with the very few remaining intact headstones moved across the road to the new church some time in the early 1900s? Andrews Children are buried in the new Onehunga R C cemetery with other family members. thanks very much wanderfull site.
