Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I'm very inexperienced at genealogy, but just became interested in researching my mother-in-laws line because it stops at Alexander James Thomas Johnson, who's wife was Elizabeth Cook (Johnson by marriage). He was born around 1852, but is listed on 'Family Search' as Alexander James Thomas Johnson with this information: Birth: 22 Jan 1852 in Hull, Yorkshire, England; Death: 10 MAY 1916 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England. I can't find any other grave or death notice that comes as close as this one. There was a notation by his name that said his wife was Elizabeth. That's what caught my attention. Thanks for any help you can provide. Sincerely, Nancy Mecham
