Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Benjamin Watson (listed on this) is actually brother to John Watson. This Benjamin was a guardian angel - he took on the family responsibilities after the early death of his brother John and later John's wife Mary - what a wonderful person he was - I am more than happy for pay for this photo.
(requested on 27 07 2018)
John (b.1832) and his brother Benjamin (b.1844) are my cousins on my grandmother's side - John and Benjamin are the children of William Watson (with another 4). Benjamin took over the family responsibilities when his brother John died in 1884 and sister-in-law Mary (died 1892) - I consider Benjamin a very loving uncle to his nieces and nephews - he never had any of his own - Benjamin should be listed as brother of John not son but I don't suppose the stonemason knew.
