Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

This is the grave of ancestor of my wife, also a Mosforth. Henry was born in Sheffield, and was involved in a most curious case of bigamy. He had refused to support his wife, as her claimed she had been married before. However, her previous husband said he himself had been married before, so his marriage to her was void, and her marriage to Henry was valid. It was a question of which marriage was valid, as the questions went back even further! It was eventually declared that Henry's marriage was valid. What he was doing in Nottingham I do not know.
