Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

family genealogy
(requested on 09 09 2011)
I'm doing my family history. My greatgreatgrandfather, Duncan Campbell was born in 1826 or 1827 and his brother, James Campbell in 1831 or 1832, I believe in Crieff. They both ended up in Southern Illinois, USA.
(requested on 21 03 2014)
I am working on my family tree and collecting information on all Alexander Campbells who lived in the Crieff area. One could quite possibly be my 2 X great grandfather and this particular Alexander ticks more boxes than others ie Name, Location, Date of Death
(requested on 05 03 2016)
We did believe that Christina Campbell was the wife of Peter Bennet a Soldier of the 93rd Regt. She traveled to Ireland and other garrisons in the UK before they settled in Dundee. They had four children William, Eliza, James and Peter. Daughter Eliza Bennet was married to Daniel Lemon in Dundee, they had three children John Lemon, Christina Campbell Lemon, James Bennet Lemon. Eliza then in 1879 married John Kelly soldier of the 3rd Foot Regt, and through their daughter Beatrice Christina Kelly who married William Chaplin a Sapper in the Royal Engineers we are related. UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS INCORRECT.
