Mrs. Tyndall Bruce Was Gifted With A Temper Of Rare Equanimity And Intellect Of Large Capacity And A Sound Judgement Ever Acting Under A Deep Sense Of Obligation To Perform Her Duty As A Christian She Manifested Her Zeal For The Promotion And Support Of Religion And Education By Many Munificent Contributions And Her Charities Were Equally Liberal. This Good And Venerable Lady Departed This Life In The House Of Falkland On The 7th Of November 1869. Her Loss Deplored By Many Friends And By Numbers To The Relief Of Whose Wants Her Hand Was Ever Open. Her Mortal Remains Rest By Those Of Her Husband In A Vault Constructed Against The East Wall Of This Church. 'Blessed are The Dead Who Die In The Lord Even So Saith The Spirit For They Rest From Their Labours.' | ||
