Margaret May Campbell192241926 Aged 4yrs 9mnths Died of diptheria . Margaret was the third child of Annie May Campbell nee James youngest child of Walter Ford James and Violetta James nee Mountain. My granny is buried at Bramley Zion with my grandfather Richard Campbell. My grandmother had 6 children in order they were George, Colin, Margaret , Jean, Bessie and the youngest Freda who was born in 1938she was my mother.

George James1917 Youngest son killed in action in France 3rd battle of Ypres known as Passchendaele. George and Herbert died within about five weeks of each other in 1917 August/September. November 1918 the war ended, they nearly survived. George is on the memorial at Tyne Cot for those whose bodies were never found neither uncle is buried in Kirkstall. Herbert died of wounds and is buried along with over 9000 other British and Commonweath troops in Belgium.
