76	Thi�bault	Paul Charles Fran�ois Adrien Henri Dieudonn� Thi�bault	1769	77	1846	no image	329654	1121	1	Born in Berlin; Thi�bault volunteered for the French army in 1792 but was accused of involvement in a failed Royalist coup d'�tat. He was exonerated; and in 1793 rejoined the regular army serving first in Germany; then in northern France; and then in Italy where he distingusihed himself at the capture of Naples. In 1801; he was appointed brigadier-general; and commanded an infantry section at the battle of Austerlitz. In 1806 he was appointed governor of Fulda; and in 1808 he was appointed General. He transferred to the Spanish campaign until 1813; when he returned to Germany. In 1815 he rallied to Napol�on; and was ordered to defend Paris. From 1818-25 he served in army staff positions under the restored Bourbon kings. His name is inscribed on the west side of the Arc de Triomphe. His wife is also buried in this tomb.
		Dieudonn� Thi�bault	1733	74	1807					Originally a member of the Jesuits; in 1765 Th�ibault was appointed professor of grammar at the Berlin Militairy Academy. He became a close friend of Frederick the Great of Prussia; and edited many of his works. In 1784 he returned to France; and in 1789 he was the only person authorised to publish a journal of the deliberations of the Etats G�n�raux before the revolutionary parliament. He was chief secretary to the Directory government in 1795; and then taught grammar at the renowned Lyc�e Charlemagne in Paris from 1799-1803; when he became director of the lyc�e in Versailles.

77	Tiolier	Marie Marguerite Tiolier			1832	id: PPLTiolier	329639	1155	1	Wife of Pierre-Joseph Tiolier; a master engraver and medallist who was appointed director of the French National Mint in 1803 by Napol�on. He resigned in 1816 in favour of his son; Nicolas-Pierre.
