Marianne Norford Erected this commemorative Tablet. Marianne married Captain George Wathen who was a well known actor manager. During his time in the army his wife gave birth to a daughter in Jamaica West Indies. Their daughter, Marianne Baillie was an author of two travel books and a versifier of Guy of Warwick,a Legend. Marianne and Arabella Norford's mother was Sarah Miller, the sister of Thomas Miller (1731-1804) bookseller of Bungay (see his entry in the Dictionary of National Biography). Thomas Miller's son was the publisher of Albemarle Street, William Miller (1879-1844).
