2198496113There are 5 tombs together all in the name of Rowe these are from the pavement to the church This tomb has 10 pictures as the writing on two of the tombs is all around the tomb Some are covered in moss andsome of the numbers look like they may be letters I think the first tomb reads Mary Rowe Widow of the late Captain Rowe of the royal Fusiliers Newbottle Durham who died the 9th day of April 1859 Aged 82 On the internet FreeBMD Deaths All at Stokesley there is Mary Ann Rowe Died Jul 1844 Charles Hutton Rowe Died Apr 1846 and Hutton Rowe Died Oct 1857 the months are usually from that quarter of the year I think these are the same as are mentioned here -------------------------------- Mary Rowe is Mary Geddes Geddes Rowe, wife ofCaptain Hutton Rowe, marriage Bond 31 July 1799, Halifax, Nova Scotia, married 1 Aug 1799 by Rev. Wright. Mother of one child, Charles Rowe, born Halifax, Nova Scotia 5 Jan 1800, who married Mary Ann Beardshaw 29 Jun 1825, Marske, Cleveland, Yorkshire, England. They in turn had 5 children, Jane, Arthur, Mary, Frances and Frederick.
