Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How do I find a family group in a cemetery?

Often, parlicularly in church burial grounds, family groups are buried together. Some of these family members may have different surnames and so could be missed by a researcher. However, the GPR has a useful feature available on most grave detail pages. This feature was initially provided to provide people with a way to identify the location of the grave. It does however, also give details of the adjacent graves.

To view this feature, when on a grave detail page, scroll down to the box named How to find this grave within a cemetery and then click the breadcrumb trail link. This will show you the thumbnail images of the grave monuments photographed before and after the one mentioned on the grave detail page.
