BARKERDavid Rigg BarkeHere I am again using this fabulous website but with no success - navigating it to research is a nightmare - round and round the houses and basically nothing - its easier to get in the car and go and look and a lot less frustrating. I have complained about the difficulties before and nothing has changed. I wouldn't even mind paying a subscription to this site if it was reliable - why oh why not just have a simple phone call and learn about the difficulties that can and do constantly happen - the navigation to find anyone is all over the place - success is by accident. 01937 574213 delighted to help but for now I have given up AGAIN!!!

EMERYPhoto of graveApology if this comes across not appreciated. But the photo I requested came back as useless because the marker is so dark. Who every took the photo looking down on sunny day doesn't help - they need to be taken at the marker's level to be able to read the inscription. Now I cannot use the photo help me further. I was looking at Thomas Emery 1830 died 1904 (with Mary in the plot). .... more

RALPHSRemarkable serviceThis is the first time I have used this site, and I just wanted to say what an excellent resource it is - not only in the content but in the way that privacy issues, etc, have been handled. Some such web sites have photos that are too small to be of use, but this personalised service is really wonderful. Thank you so much.

GRAYExcellent ResiurceA big thank you to Charles Sale for the excellent work he is producing. My family on my Mum’s side is the Gray family in the Calthorpe area of Norfolk. Through these excellent web pages, I have had access to details of several distant relatives and have retrieved images of gravestones. My Great Grandmother is Ada Maria Chase nee Gray born 1877. Her father is Aurelius Earle Gray, born in Calthorpe, Norfolk, England on 16 Mar 1851 to John Gray and Emily Earl. Aurelius Earle Gray married Mary Elizabeth Puxley and had 5 children. He passed away on Jun 1929 in Wayland, Norfolk, England (source Ancestry.co.uk). Aurelius’s brother is Rowland Earle Gray Born in Calthorpe, Norfolk on 25 Feb 1849. Once again this is an excellent resource and many thanks for access and assistance provided by Charles.
