This is the first time I have seen the gravestone for Cornelius Stainton and his wife Mary Marshall. They are my 3rd great grandparents. I had no idea that such a gravestone existed. I am amazed at how dedicated some people are to provide information like this. Again Thank you. Judy

PLUMJames and Lucy Ann PlumThank you for your prompt response to my request. The photographs are very clear but unfortunately large parts of both photographs are greyed out so that it impossible to read the inscription. In the photograph where it might have been possible to see the lettering the inscription is totally obscured by an old wreath. It was useful to be told in the site what some of the lettering said.

INGRAMThanksThank you so much for your very prompt action in sending me a photo of the headstone. It is the correct family and Charlotte is definitely on the headstone as Charlotte Savi. She was the daughter of William Ingram and Elizabeth Hills who are also on the headstone and her baptism is entered as Charlotte Lacy Ingram but she is shown as Charlotte Laci in the 1871 census. Her death is entered as Charlotte Savi and that is what is on the headstone so my many thanks.
